A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5159
ENTITLED, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING A CITY
FEE SCHEDULE" (SUPPLEMENTAL FEE RESOLUTION NO. 10)
WHEREAS, on October 4, 1982 , the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 5159 establishing a fee schedule for the city;
and
Huntington Beach Municipal Code sections 5. 36.160 and
5. 36. 170 requires secondhand dealers in addition to the city
business license, to obtain an annual state license from the
Department of Justice by filing an application with the Chief
of Police ; and
The City Council finds that it is reasonable to establish
a fee to defray the administrative costs for processing such
applications for the Department of Justice,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach that there is hereby established a non-
refundable fee of $15 to cover the administrative cost of pro-
cessing initial applications and renewal applications for the
annual state license, required for secondhand dealers, trans-
mitted by the Chief of Police to the Department of Justice .
This resolution shall become operative on the effective
date of Ordinance No 2712 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th
day of August 1984 .

members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is seven;
that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day
of August 19 84 , by the following voter
