HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 5428 RESOLUTION NO. 5428 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH DESIGNATING A REDEVELOP- MENT STUDY AREA BOUNDARY AMENDMENT FOR HUNTINGTON CENTER COMMERCIAL DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach desires that the redevelopment study area boundary for the Huntington Center Commercial District be amended in order to determine the feasibility of establishing a redevelopment project in such amended area; and California community redevelopment law (California Health and Safety Code Sections 33000, et seq. ) provides that a redevelopment survey area may be designated or amended by resolution of the City Council . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach as follows: 1 . The area shown on "Exhibit A, " attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, is hereby designated as a redevelopment survey area with an amended boundary as shown. 2. The designated redevelopent survey area as amended requires study to determine whether a redevelopment project or projects within said area is feasible.
