A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH DESIGNATING THAT A PROJECT
AREA COMMITTEE SHALL NOT BE FORMED FOR THE
HUNTINGTON CENTER COMMERCIAL DISTRICT REDEVELOP-
MENT PROJECT AREA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach finds
that no low and moderate income families will be displaced within the
Project Area by the Huntington Center Commercial District Redevelop-
ment Project; and
If no low and moderate income families will be displaced by the
project, Section 33385 of the California Community Redevelopment Law
does not require formation of a Project Area Committee, but requires
the Redevelopment Agency to consult with and obtain the advice of
residents and community organizations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Huntington
Beach as follows:
1. No Project Area Committee shall be formed for the Huntington
Center Commercial District Redevelopment Area.
2 . The Agency is hereby directed to consult with, and obtain the
advice of Project Area businesses, residential owner occupants and
tenants, and existing organizations.
3. The Agency is hereby directed to provide the persons
described above with copies of the Redevelopment Plan prior to
submitting it to the City Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 4th day
of September 1984.

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 4th day
