HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 5448 RESOLUTION NO. 5448 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPTING PRECISE PLAN OF STREET ALIGNMENT NO. 84-1 TO CHANGE THE STREET WIDTHS OF WASHINGTON AVENUE AND LYNDON STREET WHEREAS , pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law, particularly California Government Code section 65500, the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, after notice duly given, held a public hearing on September 5 , 1984 to consider Precise Plan of Street Alignment No. 84-1 to alter the widths of Washington Avenue and Lyndon Street ; and On October 1 , 1984, after notice duly given, hearing was held before this Council , and the matter having been considered , the Council finds that said Precise Plan of Street Alignment No. 84-1 is reasonably necessary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic , for the preservation of the health and safety of the inhabitants of the city, and for the orderly development of the community, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does resolve as follows : That the real property hereinafter described and shown on the map marked Exhibit A, attached hereto , incorporated herein and by this reference made a part hereof , is hereby designated and adopted as Precise Plan of Street Alignment No. 84-1 of the City of Huntington Beach: That portion of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 23, Township 5 South, Range 11 West , in the Rancho La Bolsa Chica and the Rancho Las Bolsas , City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange , State of California , as shown on a map ahb 9/12/84 0214L 1. recorded in Book 51 , page 31 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows : Washington Avenue : a fifty-foot street , as shown on a map ot Tract No. 179, recorded in Book 16, page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows : Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot No. 2 of said Tract No. 179 ; thence south 89026130/1 west 490. 00 feet along the north line of Lots 2 , 4, 6 , 8 , 10 , 11 , 12 , 13 , 14 and 16 , as shown on said map of Tract No. 179 to the northwest corner of said Lot 16 ; thence north 0033130/1 west 50. 00 feet along the northerly extension of the westerly line of said Lot 16 to the north line of said Washington Avenue , also being the north line of said Tract No. 179 ; thence north 89026 / 30/1 east 490. 00 feet along said north tract line to the northerly extension of the easterly line of said Lot 2 ; thence south 0033 / 30/1 east 50. 00 feet to the point of beginning. Lyndon Street : That portion of the southwest quarter of tie southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 23, Township 5 South, Range 11 West , in the Rancho La Bolsa Chica and the Rancho Las Bolsas , City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange , State of California , as shown on a map recorded in Book 51 , page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows : Beginning at a point 320 feet north and 107 feet east of the southwest corner of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 23 ; thence north 100 feet ; thence east 46. 00 feet ; thence south 100 feet ; thence west 46. 00 feet to the point of beginning.
