HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 5538 RESOLUTION NO. 5538 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH APPROVING SALARY AND BENEFITS FOR ELECTED DEPARTMENT HEAD POSITION OF CITY TREASURER WHEREAS, the city Charter provides that a reasonable com- pensation, including salary and fringe benefits, shall be es- tablished for certain elected positions in the city government, and the City Council desires to establish appropriate compensa- tion for the City Treasurer, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach as follows: SECTION 1. That the annual budget for fiscal year 1985-1986 shall reflect a 52ppercent increase in salary for the position of City Treasurer which shall be effective July 11 1985. SECTION 2. That the salary for the City Treasurer shall mean compensation paid for City Treasurer and Business License Manager, as consolidated in Resolution No: 5311. SECTION 3 . That benefits for such elected department head position shall be identical to the benefits for nonassociated employees.- SECTION 4. The salaries and benefits for the elected de- partment head position of City Treasurer, established for fiscal year 1985-1986, shall remain in effect until changed by resolution of the City Council: SECTION 5. Provisions of any and all other resolutions of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach in conflict herewith are hereby repealed: 1.
