A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH APPROVING AN ENVIRONMENTAL AS-
SESSMENT/NEGATIVE DECLARATION REPORT ON A COOP-
ERATIVE PROJECT BETWEEN THE CITY, CALIFORNIA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND FEDERAL HIGH-
WAYS ADMINISTRATION FOR BROOKHURST STREET, BE-
TWEEN TALBERT FLOOD CONTROL CHANNEL AND PACIFIC
COAST HIGHWAY
WHEREAS, a cooperative porject between the City of
Huntington Beach, the California Department of Transportation
(CALTRANS) and the Federal Highways Administration (FHWA) has
been proposed; and
The project provides vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle
safety on Brookhurst Street between Talbert Flood Control
Channel and Pacific Coast Highway; and
The city prepared has re ared an Environmental Assessment/ g Ne ative
Declaration for such project to comply with FHWA and CALTRANS
regulations , including giving adequate public notice; and
Responses were solicited and received from individuals and
other agencies,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach that it approves the Environmental
Assessment/Negative Declaration, a copy of which is attached
hereto and incorporated by this reference, and this Council
finds that such document results in a finding of no significant
impact (FONSI ) .
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of

Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st
day of October 1985.

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day
