HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 5660 RESOLUTION NO. 5660 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER, LESTER G. EVANS, TO APPROVE LOT LINE ADJUSTMENTS WITHOUT FURTHER RESOLUTION WHEREAS, there is a question as to the recordability of lot line adjustments which are not accompanied by City Council resolutions; and The Orange County Counsel has issued certain guidelines to the County Recorder relating thereto, and such guidelines permit recordation of lot line adjustments which are signed by a designated official authorized by the local governing body; and The City Council wishes to so designate the City Engineer, Lester G. Evans, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach hereby authorizes the City Engineer, Lester G. Evans, to approve all applications for lot line adjustments without further resolution, so long as : (a) All affected property owners are fully named on the face of the approved application; (b) All properties affected are fully and adequately described; and (c) The application is accompanied by a notary acknowledgement for the person signing the approval, which complies with California Civil Code § 1191.
