COMPREHEZENS:yE PROGRLIMS For coastal projects, describe how the projects proposed for funding fulfills the access needs of the jurisdiction. For San Francisco Bay projects, describe how the projects proposed for funding help trail systems along the bay shoreline, and connect to urland trails where appropriate. The Citv is attempting to preserve and enhance the coastal bluffs along Pacific Coast Highway. A bluff top park has already been developed. Insufficient accessway currently exists and as a result, beachgoers are attempting to scale the bluff . This results in damage to the bluff . The additional accessway will allow beachgoers safer access to the beach and will preserve the plantings which protect the bluff face. Res.
