HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 5773 RESOLUTION NO. 5773 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO DELIVER WRITTEN NOTIFICATION TO S.B.E. FINANCIAL CORPORATION OF THE CITY 'S INTENT TO EXERCISE THE OPTION TO PURCHASE THE OCEANVIEW MUSHROOM GROWERS PROPERTY - PHASE III AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL INSTRUMENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach and S.B.E. Financial Corporation have entered into a Real Estate option agreement effective August 5, 1985, for the purchase of Oceanview Mushroom Growers Property Phase III ; and, Such agreement provides that the optionee, City of Huntington Beach, deliver notification of its intent to exercise the option between May 1, 1987 and July 1, 1987; and, The City wishes to exercise such option to purchase the real property according to the terms and conditions contained therein, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach hereby declares its intent to exercise the option to purchase the Oceanview Mushroom Growers property - Phase III according to the terms and conditions contained in that certain agreement between the City of Huntington Beach and S.B.E. Financial Corporation dated August 5, 1985 . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that City Administrator is hereby authorized to cause to be delivered written Notification of the City' s intent to exercise the option and that the Mayor of -1- Huntington Beach is hereby authorized to execute any and all instruments necessary and proper in connection therewith.
