HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 5846 RESOLUTION NO. 5846 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR NON-PERMANENT EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, the City employs persons in positions which are not in the competitive service and desires to establish a compensation schedule for such positions, and "Non-permanent positions" shall be defined as follows: NON-PERMANENT POSITION. A position not in the competitive service in which a person is employed part time or on an irregular basis , including seasonal , limited term, on-call, emergency, intermittent, and substitute employees . Such employees are excluded from PERS membership. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach resolves as follows: The city hereby adopts the salary schedules for non-permanent employees which are marked Exhibits A and B, attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of February 1988 .
