SAMPLE RESOLUTION FOR CANDIDATE OCUTT PROJECT
A RESOLUTION OF THE HUNTINGTON BEACH CITY COUNCIL REQUESTING
THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION TO INCLUDE
WITHIN THE ORANGE COUNTY UNIFIED TRANSPORTATION TRUST
(OCUTT) FUND THE MODIFICATION AND COORDINATION OF
TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON ADAMS AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach desires to improve
the traffic signal system on Adams Avenue; and
The City' s Master Plan of Arterial Highways/Circulation
Element is consistent with the County of Orange Master Plan of
Arterial Highways, and
The City of Huntington Beach will provide up to 50
percent in matching funds for this project, and
The Orange County Transportation Commission intends to
allocate funds from the Orange County Unified Transportation
Trust Fund for the establishment of and improvement of traffic
signal coordination within the incorporated cities of the
county.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Huntington Beach hereby requests the Orange County
Transportation Commission to allocate funds in the amounts
specified in the City' s application to said City from Orange
County Unified Transportation Trust Funds . Said funds shall be
added to City' s share of said project and shall be used to aid
the City in the improvement of traffic signal coordination on
Adams Avenue for fiscal year 1989-90.

20th day of March 1989 . Y

Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-officio Clerk of the
City Council of said City, do hereby certify that the whole number of
members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is seven;
that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of at least a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day
