HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 6261 RESOLUTION NO. 6261 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5159, ENTITLED, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING A CITY FEE SCHEDULE" (SUPPLEMENTAL FEE RESOLUTION NO. 32 ) WHEREAS, on October 4, 1982, the City Council adopted Resolution No . 5159 establishing a fee schedule for the City; and The City Council desires to amend such fee schedule to reflect parking fees for the new parking structure known as the Main Promenade, and other recreational , residential and off-street parking. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that Resolution No. 5159 is hereby amended and the fee amendment set out in this Supplemental Fee Resolution No. 29 shall be charged during fiscal year 1990-1991 . SECTION 1. Section 19 of Resolution No. 5159 is hereby amended by adding the attached Exhibits "A-10" and "A-11" thereto . Municipal Camping Facility in the Parking Authority Area: (A) Fees for use of camping facility are due and payable daily. The daily fee shall cover use of the facility until 2 P.M. vacating time of the following day. (1) Winter Camping (Sept. 16 - May 31) Reservations taken one month in advance. Two week maximum stay. Group reservations by special appointment. Residents may purchase an annual camper pass for $2 and receive the reduced camping rate. The permits issued hereunder are invalid unless affixed to the vehicles for which they are issued. Camper Vehicle $15 per day Trailer and automobile $15 per day Each additional vehicle Day use rate or annual pass (2) Summer Camping (June 1 - Sept. 15) (a) En Route Camping Only (No reservations. Overnight only. Check in 6:00 pm. Check out 8:00 am) Camper vehicle or trailer and auto $15 Each additional vehicle Day Use Rate II. Parking in Off-Street Municipal Parking Facilities (Huntington Beach Municipal Code Section 13.16.010) Fees (A) Auto, pickup truck, motorcycles (weekday) $4 per day-rate plus $1 pier surcharge. Vehicles over 25' in length will not be permitted in parking facility from June 1-Sept 15 (excluding buses) Auto, pickup truck, motorcycles (weekend and $5 per day-rate plus $1 holidays) pier surcharge. Vehicles over 25' in length will not be permitted in parking facility from June I-Sept. 15 (excluding buses). 6261 (B) Annual residents parking pass $50 per year (C) Annual non-residents parking pass $70 per year (D) Resident meter pass and replacement pass $5 III. Parking in Metered Zones (Establishment and designation of such zones, pursuant to Huntington Beach Municipal Code Chapter 10.60) (A) RESIDENTIAL ZONES (1) The boundaries of the residential zones shall be as follows: (a) Within Second Street right-of-way from Pacific Coast Highway to Orange Avenue. (b) Within Third Street right-of-way from Walnut Avenue to Olive g Y Avenue. (c) Within Walnut Avenue right-of-way from Lake Street to Third Street. (d) Within Olive Avenue right-of-way from Lake Street to Third Street. (e) Within Fifth Street right-of-way from Walnut Avenue to Orange Avenue, west side only. I (2) The boundary of the residential zone, Area "A", shall be within Lake Street right-of-way from Pacific Coast Highway to Atlanta Avenue. meters 120-minute meters 3) Within the residential zone sixty-minute , ( � and twelve-hour meters shall be installed to show legal parking for a period of one (1) hour after deposit of two (2) twenty-five cent coins. (4) Within the residential zone, Area "A", sixty-minute meters, 120-minute meters, and twelve-hour meters shall be installed to show legal parking for a period of one (1) hour after deposit of two (2) twenty-five cent coins. (5) Sixty-minute meters, 120-minute meters and twelve-hour meters shall be placed within this zone in specific locations to be determined by the Director of Community Services. (6) Coins shall be placed in such meters from 6 a.m. through 6 p.m. daily, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. 6261 (7) A fee of five dollars ($5) shall be charged to residents for annual permits to park in residential metered zones. (8) A fee of five dollars ($5) shall be charged for annual visitor permits to park in residential metered zones (maximum two (2) permits per household). (B) RECREATIONAL ZONES (1) ZONE A: On the oceanside of Pacific Coast Highway right-of-way from Beach Boulevard to Ninth Street. (2) ZONE B: On the inland side (northside) of Pacific Coast Highway right-of-way from Beach Boulevard to Third Street and from Sixth Street to Ninth Street. (3) ZONE C: Within Pacific Coast Highway right-of-way from Ninth Street to Golden West Street. (4) ZONE D: On the oceanside of Pacific Coast Highway right-of-way and parking lots from Golden West Street to a point which is 6,100 feet northwesterly of said Golden West Street. (5) ZONE E: Within the city-owned parking lot at the southeast corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Fifth Street. (6) ZONE F_: Within the boundaries of Huntington Central Park between Gothard and Golden West Streets, north of Talbert Avenue at Huntington Central Library, 7111 Talbert Avenue. (7) ZONE G: Within the parking lots of the public launching ramps on Warner Avenue. (a) Within Zones A and B twelve-hour meters shall be installed to show legal parking for a period of one (1) hour after deposit of four (4) twenty-five cent coins. (b) Within Zone C twelve-hour meters shall be installed to show legal parking for a period of one (1) hour after deposit of four (4) twenty-five cent coins. (c) Within Zone D twelve-hour meters shall be installed to show legal parking for a period of one (1) hour after deposit of four (4) twenty-five cent coins. (d) Within Zone E sixty-minute meters shall be installed to show legal parking after deposit of two (2) twenty-five cent coins. 6261 (e) Within Zone F thirty-minute meters shall be installed to show legal parking after deposit of one (1) twenty-five cent coin. (f) Within Zone G twelve-hour meters shall be installed to show legal parking for a period of one (1) hour after deposit of three (3) twenty-five cent coins. (g) Thirty-minute meters, sixty-minute meters, 120-minute meters, and twelve-hour meters shall be placed in other specific locations to be determined by the Director of Community Services.
