A RESOLUTION OF THE HUNTINGTON BEACH CITY COUNCIL
ADOPTING LOCAL COASTAL PROGRAM AMENDMENT NO. 91-2
(CODE AMENDMENTS 88--12 OFF-STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS)
WHEREAS, after notice duly given pursuant to Government Co_c�e
§65090 and Public Resgurces Code §§30503 and 30510, the Planning
Commission of the City of Huntington Beach held public hearings to
consider the adoption of the Huntington Beach Local Coastal Program
Amendment No . 91-2 and such amendment was recommended to the City
Council for adoption; and
The City Council, after giving notice as prescribed by law,
held at least one public hearing on the proposed Huntington Beach
Local Coastal Program Amendment No. 91-2, and the Council finds the
proposed amendment is consistent with the certified Huntington Beach
Coastal Land Use Plan and Chapter 6 of the California Coastal Act;
and
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach intends to
implement the Local Coastal Program in a manner fully consistent
with the California Coastal Act; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach that the Huntington Beach Local Coastal Program
Amendment No. 91-2 consisting of the following changes is hereby
adopted:
Amendments to Articles 911 (Low Density Residential) , 912
(Medium to High Density Residential) , 913 (Oldtown and Townlot
Specific Plans) , 914 (Mobile homes) 915 (Planned Residential
Developments) , 916 (Senior Residential Suffix) , 920 (Office
Professional) , 922 (Commercial) , 924 (Visitor Serving Commercial) ,
936. 5 (Residential Condominium Conversion) , 937 (North Huntington
Center Specific Plan) , 941 (Limited Use and Recreational Open
Space) , 951 (MI-A; Restricted. Manufacturing) , 955 (M2; Industrial) ,
960 (Off-Street Parking, Loading and Landscaping) , and the Downtown
Specific Plan (Section 4-Development Standards) by repealing Article
960 (Off-Street Parking, Loading and Landscaping) with changes to
parking requirements for each district within the coastal zone.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Coastal Commission
Regulations §13551(b) , Huntington Beach Local Coastal Program
Amendment No . 91-2 will take effect automatically upon Coastal
Commission approval pursuant to Public Resources Code §30512, 30513,
and 30519.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting held on the 3rd day of .junP
1991.

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of at least a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day
