HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 6308f RESOLUTION NO. 6308 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH TO QUALIFY FOR THE 1991 ORANGE COUNTY ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that: 1. The City has adopted a uniform setback ordinance to protect right—of—way necessary to construct the highway to its Master Plan of Arterial Highways classification. 2. The City has adopted provisions for the limitation of access to the arterial highway system in order to protect the integrity of the system. 3. The City's Circulation Plan of Arterial Streets and Highways conforms to that of the County and adjacent public entities except for the following: (a.) Ellis Avenue, Edwards Street to Gothard Street, has been reclassified as a Primary Arterial Highway on the City system; (b.) Garfield Avenue, Edwards Street to west City limits, has been reclassified to a Primary Arterial Highway on City system; (c.) Indianapolis Avenue, Lake Street to Beach Boulevard, be deleted from the City system; (d.) Seapoint Street Pacific Coast Highway to Palm Avenue, is classified as a Primary Arterial Highway on the City system; (e.) Talbert Avenue, Edwards Street to Golden West Street, is deleted from the City system; (f.) Talbert Avenue, Golden West Street to Gothard Street, is under study to be deleted from the City system; (g.) Talbert Avenue, west of Springdale Street to Edwards Street, is a Primary Arterial Highway on the City system; 4.
