A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH WHICH INCORPORATES
DESIGN GUIDELINES INTO THE ELLIS-GOLDENWEST
SPECIFIC PLAN
WHEREAS, Design Guidelines have been prepared for the
Ellis-Goldenwest Specific Plan; and
All persons wishing to respond to notice duly given
have been heard by the Planning Commission either through
written comments or public testimony during a public hearing on
April 21, 1992 and such responses and comments which were made
were duly noted and responded to; and
The Planning Commission approved Resolution No . 1467
which recommends that the City Council incorporate the Design
Guidelines into the Ellis-Goldenwest Specific Plan; and
All persons wishing to respond to notice duly given
have been heard by the City Council either through written
comments or public testimony during a public hearing
on 8/3/92 , and such responses and comments were duly
noted and responded to,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Huntington Beach as follows :
Section 1 . The City Council does hereby find that the
Design Guidelines will provide continuity of common and private
landscaping, equestrian trails, signage, fencing and street
lights .

Section 2. The City Council further finds that the
Design Guidelines are consistent with the Estate Residential
Design Theme and the General Plan Designation of Estate
Residential.
Section 3 . The Design Guidelines are hereby
incorporated and made part of the Ellis-Goldenwest Specific
Plan. The Director of Community Development is directed to
amend the Specific Plan as necessary to reflect the adoption of
the Design Guidelines. A copy of the amended Specific Plan
shall be filed with the City Clerk.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting held on the 3zd day
of August 1992 .

I, CONNIE BROCKWAY, the duly elected, qualified City

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of at least a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day
