A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH CONSENTING TO A JOINT
PUBLIC HEARING WITH THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ON THE PROPOSED
TERMINATION OF THE WARNER-GOLDENWEST SMALL LOT
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK
TO SET THE TIME, DATE AND PLACE THEREOF
WHEREAS, on August 1, 1977, the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach adopted Ordinance No. 2212 adopting a `
redevelopment plan for the Warner-Goldenwest Small Lot
Redevelopment Project; and
The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Huntington Beach has
found that the purposes of the redevelopment plan have been
fulfilled and has recommended to terminate the Warner-Goldenwest
Small Lot Redevelopment Project;
California Health and Safety Code §§ 33451 and 33454 provide
that in order to amend a development plan, the legislative body
and the agency shall hold a separate public hearing on any
proposed amendment to the redevelopment plan, while S 33258
thereof provides that as an alternative to the separate public
hearing, the legislative body and the agency, with the consent
of both, may hold a joint public hearing on the proposed
amendment,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach resolves as follows :
1. The City Council gives its consent to a joint public
hearing with the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Huntington

Beach on the proposed termination of the Warner-Goldenwest Small
Lot Redevelopment Project.
2 . The City Clerk is directed to schedule the joint
hearing on December 7, 1992 at 7:00 p.m. to be held at the City
Council Chambers and in accordance with the requirements of
California H 1 h and Safety Code § 33452 to publish the notice
of such hearing once a week for three successive weeks prior to
the date of hearing in a newspaper of general circulation,
printed and published in the community. The notice of hearing
shall include a legal description of the boundaries of the
project area and a general statement of the purpose of the
project termination. Copies of the notices shall be mailed to
the governing body of each of the taxing agencies which levies
taxes upon any property in the project area. The notice shall
be mailed by certified mail with return receipt requested.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on
the 19- h day of October 1992 .

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of at least a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 19 th day
