HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 6442 RESOLUTION NO. 6442 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH APPOINTING DESIGNATED AGENTS FOR THE SUBMITTAL OF GRANT APPLICATIONS TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND/OR THE CALIFORNIA TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION. WHEREAS, the city will, from time to time, submit applications to the State of California, Department of Transportation and/or the California Transportation Commission, for the purpose of obtaining certain State financial assistance; and Applications for such financial assistance must be filed by an agent of the city so designated by the City Council, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby resolve as follows : 1. That Donald R. Noble, Contract Administrator, and Robert E. Eichblatt, City Engineer, are hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of Huntington Beach, a local government entity established under the laws of the State of California, applications for the purpose of obtaining certain State financial assistance. 2 . That acceptance of any financial assistance offered to the city as a result of these applications must be confirmed by a vote of the City Council. 3 . That the City of Huntington Beach hereby authorizes its agents to provide to the California State Department of Transportation and/or the California Transportation Commission, all matters pertaining to such items concerned with the submitted applications, the assurances and agreements required.
