A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
5159 ENTITLED, 11A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
ESTABLISHING A CITY FEE SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, on October 4, 1982 , the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 5159 establishing a fee schedule for the City; and
The City Council desires to reflect new fees and all changes
in fees charged to the public for City services, facilities and
activities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach that Resolution No. 5159 is hereby
amended to incorporate the changes set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof; and.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fee additions and amendments
set out in this Supplemental Fee Resolution No. 6492 shall be
effective during fiscal year 1993/94 starting on the dates
denoted in Exhibit "A" and thereafter; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as amended herein, the
fees contained in Resolution Nos. 5159, 5188 , 5192, 5289, 5339,
5493 and Supplemental Fee Resolutions 1 through inclusive
shall remain in full force and effect.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st
day of June 1993 .

FEE TITLE: Traffic Accident Investigation Reports
FEE CHARGED: LEVEL 1 - NO FEE / Exchange of information and traffic
clearance.
LEVEL 2 - $15 / Written report filed at station, no
investigation.
LEVEL 3 - $35 / Written report with a limited investigation.
A limited investigation is where a field officer responds
and completes a form 555, 556, or 557 with complaint of pain
only. This will include hit-and-run accidents where damage
is very minor and evidence is insufficient for prosecution,
or accidents where property damage to involved vehicles is
less than $1, 000.
LEVEL 4 - $60 / Written report with significant field
investigation. A significant investigation is one in which
a field officer responds and completes a form 556 on an
accident with property damage in excess of $1,000; accidents
involving serious injury or fatality; any accident involving
driving under the influence (DUI) investigations or arrests,
and any hit-and-run investigations involving injuries of any
type,

Where specific plans are required, a plan check fee shall be charged
equal to 50 percent of the total inspection fee, excluding the permit
issuance fee.
NOTE: These fees do not include permit fees for any parts of solar systems
which are subject to the requirements of other applicable codes.

CONSULTANT - the actual cost of such consulting services plus
administrative costs of 25% of the consultive costs or $25.00

CONDITIONS:
(a) The payment of such fees shall be in addition to other required
fees.
(b) There the special service is provided during normal work hours, the
fee shall be based on the actual time expended but not less than
one (1) hour.
(c) Where the special service is provided as overtime between the hours
6:00 AM and 8:00 PM on a normal work day, the fee shall be based on
the actual time expended but not less than one (1) hour at the
outside normal work hours rate.
(d) Where the special service is provided outside the hours of 6:00 AM
to 8:00 PM on a normal work day or during any hours on a typical
City day off, as provided in the City's current MOU, the fee shall
be based on the actual time expended but not less than four (4)
hours at the outside normal work hours rate.
