HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 6545 RESOLUTION NO. 6545 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH APPROVING ALLOCATION OF $25,000 OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS RELATED TO THE WIDENING OF ENGLAND STREET WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach previously approved the allocation of Community Development Block Grant money for the improvement and widening of certain portions of England Street, in the City of Huntington Beach; and Said portions of England Street are in the Florida/Yorktown Enhancement Area; and The desired public right-of-way improvements cannot be made unless an existing structure is demolished and a right-of-way easement is acquired; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach as follows: SECTION 1. That the agreement between the City of Huntington Beach and Catalina Lopez for the acquisition of certain real and personal property located at 2317 England Street, Huntington Beach, California, be approved, and the agreed price of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) be paid from Community Development Block Grant funds, previously approved for the improvement of England Street in the Florida/Yorktown Enhancement Area in the City of Huntington Beach. 1 711opezl08131193 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of November , 1993.
