A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPTING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS FOR THE YEARS 1996/1997 THROUGH 2O0212003 FOR COMPLIANCE WITH MEASURE M. WHEREAS, On November b, 1990, the Orange County voters approved Measure M, the revised Traffic Improvement and Growth Management Ordinance; Measure M authorized the imposition of a one-half percent sales tax for a period of twenty years to fund necessary transportation improvements; One of the eligibility requirements for Measure M is the adoption of a Capital Improvement Program for the years 1996/1997 through 2002/2003, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby adopt the Capital Improvement Programs for Measure M, contained in Exhibits"A' to this resolution. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15tb day of Ju1Y , 1996.
