HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 96-80 RESOLUTION NO. 9 6-s o A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPTING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE YEARS 1996/1997 THROUGH 2O02/2003 FOR COMPLIANCE WITH MEASURE M WHEREAS, on November 6, 1990, the Orange County voters approved Measure M, the revised Traffic Improvement and Growth Management Ordinance; Measure M authorized the imposition of a one-half percent sales tax for a period of twenty years to fund necessary transportation improvements; One of the eligibility requirements for Measure M is the adoption of a Capital Improvement Program for the years 1996/1997 through 2002/2003; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby adopt the Capital Improvement Program for Measure M contained in Exhibit"A" to this resolution. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3 r d day of September , 1996.
