A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING
CITY FEE RESOLUTION NO. 5159, AS AMENDED,
TO ADJUST THE DAILY BEACH PARKING FEE
AND THE FEES FOR THE MAIN PROMENADE
PARKING STRUCTURE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach set parking fees for the
beach parking lots and the Main Promenade Parking Structure pursuant to Resolution No. 5159,
and has periodically amended said fees by subsequent resolutions; and
The City has conducted a public hearing,pursuant to notice, to consider public input on
amending the parking fees; and
The City Council has determined that the parking fees set forth in this resolution are fair
and reasonable, in consideration of the need of the parking structure to remain self-supporting, in
order to safeguard existing City revenues, to recoup the costs of maintaining the beach areas and
to deter the parking of vehicles within residential areas;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach hereby resolves
to amend the daily beach parking fee and the fees for the Main Promenade Parking Structure as
contained in City Resolution No. 5159, as amended, to be as follows:

Beach parking pass, prorated on the day after Labor Day $35
Beach Service Road Permit, Vendor Permit, Resident $51per year
Meter Pass, Replacement Pass
Student parking pass (valid Sept. 1 to Dec. 31, and Jan. 1 to $5/per year
Jun. 19 each calendar year, 6:00 to 10:00 AM on weekdays
[weekends excluded]. Student must furnish student body card
and enrollment card for a surfing class for the current year
issued by the school attended)

by the affirmative vote of at least a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of February, 1999 by the
