HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2000-114 RESOLUTION NO. 2000-114 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5159 ENTITLED "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING A CITY FEE SCHEDULE" AS TO SERVICES OFFERED UNDER THE LIBRARY SERVICES DEPARTMENT (SUPPLEMENTAL FEE RESOLUTION NO. 78 ) WHEREAS, on October 4, 1982, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5159 establishing a fee schedule for the City; and On November 6, 1995, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 6719 establishing a nonresident library card fee of$25.00, along with certain exemptions; and The City Council desires to establish a new exemption to the existing nonresident library card fee for City employees; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that Resolution No. 5159 and Resolution No. 6719 are hereby amended to exempt City Employees from the annual library card fee of$25.00. lbs. NQ. ?moo kl'3, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the exemption set out inithis Supplemental Fee Resolution No. 78 shall be effective December 4 , 2000, and continue during the fiscal year 2000/2001 and thereafter; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as amended herein, the fees contained in Resolution No. 5159 and Resolution 6719, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 4tn day of December 2000.
