A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
ORDERING THE SUMMARY VACATION OF THE
INGRESS AND EGRESS EASEMENT AT THE
TERMINUS OF DERBY CIRCLE
WHEREAS, THE City Council of the City of Huntington Beach wishes to summarily
vacate an ingress and egress easement which is excess right-of-way and is not required for street
or highway purposes pursuant to California Streets and Highways Code Section 8334(a); and
Said right-of-way is a portion of Derby Circle,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. Pursuant to Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4 of the California Streets and Highways
Code, commencing with Section 8334(a), the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
hereby orders the vacation of the ingress and egress casement located at the easterly terminus of
Derby Circle.
2. The ingress and egress easement hereby vacated is more particularly described as
follows:
Being the ingress and egress easement over Lot 8 and adjacent to
Derby Circle in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, as shown on a map of Tract No. 14007, filed in
Book 735, Pages 15 through 17 inclusive of miscellaneous maps, in
the Office of the County Recorder of said County.

The City Council does hereby confirm that the ingress and egress easement herein
vacated is excess right-of-way and is not required for street or highway purposes.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a
regular meeting held thereof on the 18th day of Der , 2000.
