HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2000-16 RESOLUTION NO. 2 0 0 0-L 6 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF EIGHTEEN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT(S) TO THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATON AUTHORITY FOR STREET REHABILITATION FUNDING UNDER THE COMBINED TRANSPORTATION FUNDING PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach desires to implement the transportation improvements listed below; and The City of Huntington Beach has been declared by the Orange County Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility requirements to receive Measure M "turnback" funds; and The City's Circulation Element is consistent with the Orange County Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and The City of Huntington Beach will provide matching funds for each project as required by the Orange County Combined Transportation Funding Program Procedures Manual; and The Orange County Transportation Authority intends to allocate funds for transportation improvement projects within the incorporated cities and the County; and The City of Huntington Beach will use Arterial Highway Rehabilitation Funding as a supplement to their existing pavement management program, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach hereby resolved as follows: 1. That the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach hereby requests the Orange County Transportation Authority allocate funds in the amounts specified in the City's application to said City from the Combined Transportation Funding Programs. Said funds shall be matched by funds from said City at the percentage identified in their competitive grant application as required and shall be used as supplemental funding to aid the City in the improvement of the following street(s): 1 4/s:4-2000 Resolutions:Street Rehabilitation RLS 00-035 1/14/00 Resolution 2000-16 1. Warner Avenue Beach Boulevard to Springdale Street 5. Warner Avenue Bolsa Chica to Sims 6. Magnolia Street Adams Avenue to Garfield Avenue 7. Springdale Street McFadden Avenue to Edinger Avenue S. McFadden Avenue Goldenwest Street to I-405/City Limits 9. Magnolia Street Atlanta Avenue to Indianapolis Avenue 10. Gothard Street Ellis Avenue to Heil Avenue 11. Hamilton Avenue Bushard Street to Santa Ana River 12. Yorktown Avenue Bushard Street to Brookhurst Street 13. McFadden Avenue Chemical to Springdale Street 14.
