A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS TO THE
HUNTINGTON BEACH CHANNEL (FACILITY NO. DO I)
FROM 1750 FEET UPSTREAM OF NEWLAND TO ATLANTA AVENUE
BY THE ORANGE COUNTY PUBLIC FACILITIES
AND RESOURCES DEPARTMENT AND FUNDED BY THE
ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Orange County Public Facilities and Resources Department on behalf of
the Orange County Flood Control District proposes to construct 100-year flood control
improvements to the Huntington Beach Channel (Facility No. DOI) from 1750 feet upstream of
Newland to Atlanta Avenue which project has been found to have beneficial impacts on drainage
within the City of Huntington Beach; and
Approval of plans and specifications for this project by the City of Huntington Beach is
required under provisions of the California Public Contract Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby
approve plans and specifications for the proposed project to widen Huntington Beach Channel
(Facility No. D01) from 1750 feet upstream of Newland to Atlanta Avenue by the Orange
County Public Facilities and Resources Department.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of August 2000

I, CONNIE BROCKWAY, the duly elected, qualified City Clerk of
the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-officio Clerk of the City Council of said
City, do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is seven, that the foregoing resolution was
passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of at least a majority of all the
members of said City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th
day of August, 2000 by the following vote:
