A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5159, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE
COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT FEE SCHEDULE
(SUPPLEMENTAL FEE RESOLUTION NO. 79
WHEREAS, on October 4, 1982, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach adopted Resolution No. 5159 establishing a fee schedule for the City, including a
fee schedule for the Community Services Department, and periodically has amended
these fees by subsequent resolutions; and
The City now desires to establish new fees and change existing fees related to the
City's Community Services Department Fee Schedule; and
The City has conducted a public hearing,pursuant to notice, to consider public input
on amending the City's Community Services Department Fee Schedule; and
The City Council has determined that the fees set forth in this resolution are fair and
reasonable, and necessary to offset the cost of programs and services being offered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach that Resolution No. 5159, as amended, is hereby amended to
incorporate the changes set forth in Exhibit "A,"attached hereto and by this reference
made a part hereof; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as amended herein, the fees
contained in Resolution No. 5159, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of May , 2001.

NOTES ON ALL RENTALS:
BUILDING CURFEWS: 12:00 AM midnight. Exceptions: 11:00 PM at Seniors' Center on Friday
and Saturday; all other days 10:30 PM; 10:00 PM at Newland Barn Sunday
thru Thursday.
GROUP III: Senior Center-Free use Monday thru Friday, 9:00 AM-4.30 PM. Other
facilities for use Monday thru Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and Monday thru
Thursday rentals 5:00- 9:30 PM, rates will be one-half of the above rates.
GROUPS VI &V: Minimum two-hour rental, except entire Art Center.
CLOSED ON Facilities are not available on the following holidays: Easter, Fourth of July,
HOLIDAYS: Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year's
Eve and Day.
ADDITIONAL FEES: $15/hour for seGwAty staff during closed hours. For special seating/banquet
arrangements, special equipment or other extras, cleanup, security deposits,
and setup, fee will vary according to usage. $20/hour at Art Center for
security and/or technical assistance during closed hours. $45 Alcohol Use
Permit. Alcohol not allowed at Seniors' Center or City Gym. Uniformed
security required for alcohol permits at Edison and Murdy
Community Centers.
