A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
ESTABLISHING A POLICY REGARDING OFFERS TO THE CITY FROM OTHER PUBLIC
AGENCIES TO SELL SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, Title 5, Division 2, Part 1, Chapter 5, Article 8 of the California
Government Code, commencing with Section 54220,provides the statutory procedure regarding
the presentation of offers from public agencies regarding the sale of their surplus real property;
and
The City Council would like to review such offers when they are presented to the City,
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby
resolve as follows:
I. That all offers from public agencies regarding the sale of their surplus real
property that are presented to the City shall be placed on the earliest possible City Council
agenda for discussion and action by the City Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of October , 2001.

I; CONNIE BROCKWAY, the duly elected, qualified City Clerk of
the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-officio Clerk of the City Council of said
City, do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is seven; that the foregoing resolution was
passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of at least a majority of all the
members of said City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th
day of October, 2001 by the following vote:
AYES: Green, Boardman, Cook, Julien Houchen, Garofalo, Dettloff,
Bauer
NOES: None
