HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2002-86 RESOLUTION NO. 2002-86 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH PROVIDING BENEFITS AND SALARY FOR THE CITY ATTORNEY FOR THE PERIOD OF SEPTEMBER 30,2002 TO DECEMBER 2,2002. WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach desires to establish the salary level and benefits for the City Attorney, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach as follows: SECTION 1. This provisions of this resolution shall be effective commencing September 30, 2002, and shall expire on December 2, 2002; during said time period, this resolution is intended to supersede the provisions of Resolution No. 2002-2. SECTION 2. Benefits for the City Attorney shall be as reflected in Attachment "A" hereto. Salary for the City Attorney shall be set as reflected in Attachment `B" hereto. Said salary is adjusted to reflect cash equivalent for PERS contribution, General Leave and Auto Allowance benefits. SECTION 3. Effective December 2, 2002 and thereafter, the provisions of Resolution No. 2002-2 shall set forth the salary and benefits for the elected City Attorney. SECTION 4. All benefits and salary ranges established herein shall continue at their highest levels until further modified by City Council action. SECTION 5. The Agreement Between the City of Huntington Beach and Gail C. Hutton for Early Retirement and Provision of Transitional Consultant Legal Services, previously approved by the City Council on August 5, 2002, is hereby rescinded. No. 2002-86 ATTACH-INTENT "A" All health, dental, life, vision insurance benefits as well as participation in the City sponsored IRC §401C and IRC §§457 deferred compensation program provided non-associated officers, officials, and employees shall be granted to the City Attorney during the periods reflected herein.
