RESOLUTION NO. 2003-63
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING A CITYWIDE USER FEE SCHEDULE
AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 5159 ENTITLED,
"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING A CITY FEE SCHEDULE"
AND CERTAIN SUPPLEMENTAL AMENDMENTS THERETO
WHEREAS, on October 4, 1982, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5159 establishing-a
fee schedule for the City; and
From time to time supplemental fee resolutions have been adopted amending Resolution No.
5159; and
The City Council desires to state new fees and update existing fees charged to the public; and
The fees hereinafter established do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing the -
service for which the fees are imposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
that the fees set forth in Exhibit"A" and adopted by this Resolution shall be effective on October 1,
2003, and continue thereafter.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following resolutions are hereby repealed: 5159, 5192,
5253, 5289, 5291, 5304, 5313, 5319, 5321, 5328, 5365, 5372, 5403, 5411, 5417, 5461, 5493, 5579,
5630, 5685, 5723, 5778, 5872, 5902, 6011, 6068, 6166, 6181, 6199a, 6200, 6245, 6261, 6268, 6397,

Fee Charged: To calculate a facility's hazardous materials review and inspection fee,do the following:
1) Take the total number of different chemicals used in the occupancy and find the box in Column 1.
"Number.of Chemicals Range"which matches the total number of different chemicals used
2)Find the highest"Quantity Range"in Columns 2,3 or 4 which is determined by the single highest
quantity of a chemical(liquid,gas or solid)that is stored in the occupancy.
3)Then find the box which intersects the"Number of Chemicals Range"(ACROSS)and the"Quantity
Range" Column(DO)NN)to calculate the fee.
