HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2006-24 RESOLUTION NO. 2006_24 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5.980 ENTITLED, "A RESOL UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING `PARKING PERMIT DISTRICT D' WITHIN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH" WHEREAS,the City of Huntington Beach has adopted Ordinance No. 2977 allowing the establishment of parking districts in residential areas under certain conditions; and On February 6, 1989, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5980 establishing a parking district known as"Parking Permit District D" consisting of the following street segments: Park Street, from Utica Avenue to Springfield Avenue; Main Street, from Seventeenth Street to Springfield Avenue; Utica Avenue, from Park Street to Pine Street. WHEREAS, the citizens of the residential street known as Pine Street have petitioned for the establishment of a parking district; and The Director of Public Works has caused an investigation of parking conditions in the above-mentioned street to be conducted and found the requirements of Ordinance No. 2977 to be substantially fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that the parking district known as "Parking Permit District D" is herewith amended to include the following: The 1800 block of Pine Street, effective Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., except legal holidays PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of June 2006. 06 reso/parking permit d R(�solution No. 2006 -24 Mayor REVIEWED AND APPROVED: APPROVED AS TO FORM: /7 !/City Ad6nistrator i y Attorney INI AN PPROVED: Director of Public Works 06 reso/parking permit d Res.
