A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPTING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAMS FOR THE YEARS 2008/2009 THROUGH 2O14/2015 FOR
COMPLIANCE WITH MEASURE M AND PROPOSITION 111 REQUIREMENTS
WHEREAS, on November 6, 1990, the Orange County voters approved Measure M, the
revised Traffic Improvement and Growth Management Ordinance; and
Measure M authorized the imposition of a one-half percent sales tax for a period of
twenty years to fund necessary transportation improvements; and
One of the eligibility requirements for Measure M funds is the adoption of a Capital
Improvement Program for the years 2008/2009 through 2014/2015,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby
resolve as follows:
That the Capital Improvement Program for Measure M and Proposition 111, as contained
in Exhibit"A" attached hereto and incorporated by this reference, is hereby adopted.
