A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
DECLARING THE CANCELATION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF
JANUARY 4, 2010; AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PROVIDE NOTICE OF
SUCH CANCELATION
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Regular Council Meeting scheduled for
January 4, 2010, should be canceled due to the closure of City Hall during the work furlough of
December 28, 2009 through December 31, 2009; and
The City Council desires to declare that the Regular Council Meeting scheduled for
January 4, 2010 is canceled; and to direct the City Clerk to provide public notice of such
cancelation,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. That the Regular City Council Meeting scheduled for January 4, 2010, is hereby
canceled.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to provide public notice of such cancelation
in such manner as she deems necessary or convenient, or as otherwise required by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of December , 20 09 .

I, JOAN L. FLYNN the duly elected, qualified City Clerk of the City of
Huntington Beach, and ex-officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach is seven; that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted
by the affirmative vote of at least a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on December 7, 2009 by the following vote:
AYES: Carchio, Coerper, Hardy, Green, Bohr, Dwyer, Hansen
NOES: None

ABSTAIN: None
