A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE EDINGER
STORM CHANNEL (FACILITY NO. C05S05) FROM THE EAST GARDEN GROVE—
WINTERSBURG CHANNEL TO 1,646 FEET UPSTREAM OF EDINGER AVENUE BY THE
COUNTY OF ORANGE, OC PUBLIC WORKS AND FUNDED BY THE ORANGE
COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the County of Orange, OC Public Works Department on behalf of the
Orange County Flood Control District proposes to construct 100-year flood control
improvements to the Edinger Storm Channel (Facility No. C05S05) from the East Garden
Grove—Wintersburg Channel to 1,646 feet upstream of Edinger Avenue, which project has been
found to have beneficial impacts on drainage within the City of Huntington Beach; and
Approval of plans and specifications for this project by the City of Huntington Beach is
required under provisions of the California Public Contract Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby
approve plans and specifications for the proposed project to improve the Edinger Storm Channel
(Facility No. C05S05) from the East Garden Grove—Wintersburg Channel to 1,646 feet upstream
of Edinger Avenue by the County of Orange, OC Public Works Department.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of May , 2010.

by the affirmative vote of at least a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on May 3, 2010 by the following vote:
