HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2011-08 RESOLUTION NO. 2011-08 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH TEMPORARILY CHANGING THE TIME OF CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2004-95, set the starting time for regular meetings to be 4:00 p.m.; and The City Council has agreed to honor the request of a fellow councilmember to temporarily change the start time of the meeting; and The City Council agrees to adjust the starting time of the meeting on a temporary basis to 5:00 p.m. with the business and public comments portion of the meeting to commence at 6:00 p.m., NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach as follows: SECTION 1. City Council meetings shall be held at the hour of 5:00 p.m., in Room B-8 of the Civic Center, with the business and public comments portion of the meeting to begin at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers through the meeting of May 2, 2011. Beginning with the May 16th meeting, the City Council meeting start time will revert to 4:00 p.m. SECTION 2. No meeting shall continue beyond 11:00 p.m. without a majority vote of the City Council. SECTION 3. All portions of Resolution No. 2004-95 in conflict herewith are repealed.
