HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2011-47 RESOLUTION NO. 2011-47 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPTING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS FOR THE YEARS 2011/2012 THROUGH 2O17/2018 FOR COMPLIANCE WITH MEASURE M AND PROPOSITION 111 REQUIREMENTS WHEREAS, On November 6, 1990, the Orange County voters approved Measure M,the revised Traffic Improvement and Growth Management Ordinance, a twenty year program (1991- 2011); and On November 7, 2006,the Orange County voters approved Renewed Measure M which is a thirty year multi-billion dollar program extension of the original Measure M; and The Renewed Measure M authorized the imposition of a one-half percent sales tax for a period of thirty years to fund necessary transportation improvements; and One of the eligibility requirements for Measure M is the adoption of a Capital Improvement Program for the years 2011/2012 through 2017/2018. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby resolve as follows: That the Capital Improvement Program for Measure M and Proposition 111, as set forth in the attached Exhibit"A" and incorporated by this reference, is hereby adopted.
