HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2012-37 RESOLUTION NO. 2012-37 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH EXTENDING THE VALID DURATION .FOR A PARKING PERMIT TO FIVE YEARS FOR ALL DISTRICTS WITHIN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 3936 at its April 16, 2012 meeting (effective May 16, 2012) increasing the length of time permits in a residential parking district can be valid; and Permit parking districts "A" "B" "C" "D" "E" "F" "G" "H" "I" "J" "K" "L" and "M"have been established by resolution as permit parking districts within the City of Huntington Beach, and The Director of Public Works has caused an investigation of the duration of permit use for the permit paring districts and found that a five-year duration of permit use serves all the permit parking districts. NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby resolve as follows: A five-year duration of permit use for permit parking districts A", `B", "C", "D", "E", "F", "G", "H", "I", "J", "K", "L", and"M" is hereby established. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 2 n d day of July , 2012.
