Home My WebLink AboutCity Council - 2014-41 RESOLUTION NO. 2014-41 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDERING THE SUMMARY VACATION OF AN EXCESS PORTION OF A PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT FOR PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY PURPOSES GENERALLY LOCATED BETWEEN MAUNA LANE AND THE FORMER LAMB SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach wishes to summarily vacate an excess portion of a public service easement for a pedestrian walkway, as more particularly described in the legal description and sketch attached hereto ("the Easement") pursuant to California Streets and Highways Code Section 8333(c); and The Easement is generally located between the former Lamb School site and Mauna Lane in the City of Huntington Beach, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby resolve as follows: 1. Pursuant to Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4 of the California Streets and Highways Code, commencing with Section 8333(c), the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach hereby orders the vacation of the excess portion of the Easement generally located between the former Lamb School site and Mauna Lane in the City of Huntington Beach. 2. The excess portion of the Easement hereby vacated is more particularly described in the Legal Description and plats attached hereto as Exhibits 1-A, 1-B, 2-A, and 2-B, respectively, which Exhibits are incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. 3.
