HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2016-59 .2-0/-7- 'RESOLUTION NO. 2016-59 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING A CONSOLIDATED COMPREHENSIVE CITYWIDE MASTER FEE AND CHARGES SCHEDULE AND REPEALING RESOLUTIONS 2009-31, 2009-32, 2009-33 AND 2011-09 AND ALL SUPPLEMENTAL RESOLUTIONS THERETO WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolutions 2009-31, 2009-32, 2009-33 and 2011-09 establishing City fee schedules for user fees,development fees and charges for facility rentals,recreational services and jail related fees charged to the public; and The City Council desires to update existing fees charged to the public; and The City Council has reviewed the final comprehensive fee study("Fee Report"). Pursuant to the Fee Report and staff reconi riendation, except where allowed by law, the fees do not exceed the reasonable cost of providing the service for which the fee is collected; and The City Council desires to establish fees consistent with the Fee Report and staff recommendation, and finds that according to the Fee Report and staff recommendation, except where allowed by law, the fees hereinafter established do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing the service for which the fees are imposed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that the fees set forth in Exhibit"A"and adopted by this Resolution shall become . effective sixty (60) days following the adoption of this Resolution, and continue thereafter. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolutions 2009-31, 2009-32, 2009-33, and 2011-09 and all supplemental resolutions thereto are hereby repealed.
