HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2018-16 RESOLUTION NO. 2018-16 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH CERTIFYING THAT THE CITY HAS THE RESOURCES TO FUND THE PROJECTS IN THE FY 2018/19—2023/24 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AND AFFIRMS ITS COMMITMENT TO IMPLEMENT ALL PROJECTS IN THE PROGRAM WHEREAS, The City of Huntington Beach ("CITY") is located within the metropolitan planning boundaries of the Southern California Association of Governments; and CITY has authorized project submittals to the Orange County Transportation Authority's (OCTA) Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP); and CITY is the lead agency for projects and will comply with applicable local, state, and federal provisions including but not limited to the FTIP, California Environmental Quality Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Buy America; and CITY agrees to construct Transportation Control Measures projects as noted in the amendments in a timely manner, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby resolve as follows: 1. That it affirms the City's commitment to the projects submitted in the 2019 Federal Transportation Improvement Program: a. Atlanta Avenue Widening Project (from Huntington St. to Delaware St.) b.
