of Transportation whereby the State agrees to lease a 2 acre parcel
oi' l&nd located at the northwest corner of Utica and Florida Streets
to the City of Huntington Beach to be used for park, recreation and
• � related facilitir-� The tears of the lease are for xive er�cr or
completion of the Transportation Corridor Study, whichever is earlier
and the total rental is $6,000 in monthly installments of $100, with
the first payment being $200 representing the first and last months,
rental under this lease.
Exelcution of this lease will enable the City of Huntington Beach to
provide a necessary recreational area for the residents of the "Motown"
area which is sa%ly delinquent in such facilities.
RECilMMENDATION
Execute the lease between the State of California, Department of
Transportation and the City of Huntington Beach.
