Nine projects have been authorized by FHWA to receive funding. Funding Source: Matching funds for the grants are budgeted in the Gas Tax Fund. Recommended Action: Motion to: 1. On June 16,1997, the State and City entered into an updated Agreement that included new provisions of the lntermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act (1STEA) and the reengineered Local Assistance procedures. Adopting the resolution will allow the City to execute Program Supplement Nos. M020 through M028, which cover project construction and construction engineering costs for Warner Avenue, Springdale Street, McFadden Avenue, Magnolia Street, Gothard Street, Hamilton Avenue, Yorktown Avenue, and Graham Street Construction Improvements. Construction work for all listed projects consists of removing failed pavement areas, cold milling, sealing cracks, installing pavement reinforcing fabric, constructing asphalt concrete overlay, traffic loops, traffic signing and striping. The ADMINISTERING AGENCY will reimburse the STATE for the ADMINISTERING AGENCY share of costs for work requested to be performed by the STATE. 2. On .tune 16, 1997, the State and City entered into an updated Agreement that included new provisions of the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act (ISTEA) and the reengineered Local Assistance procedures. Adopting the Resolution will allow the City to execute the Program Supplement No. M018 and M019, which covers project construction costs for Newland Street and Warner Avenue Construction Improvements. Construction work for the two projects consists of removing failed pavement areas, cold milling, sealing cra:ks, installing pavement reinforcing fabric, constructing asphalt concrete overlay and traffic signing and stiping.
