RECOMMENDATION: Reencumber the $124,964.17 Lnexpanded on the project and authorize the Director of Administrative S,irvices to increase the gas tax appropriation by that amount. ANALYSIS: At a regular meeting (June 1, 1981), the City Council accepted a proposal to allow Signal Landmark to fund (1) the construction of new traffic signals at Beach and Utica and (2) the modification of signals at Beach and Adams. A sum of $125,000 was placed on deposit with the City by Signal Landmark. By the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 1981) only $35.83 had been expended, but the balance was inadvertently not reappropriated. The oversight needs to be corrected in ordar to honor the contract.
