Please refer to your letters of February 17 and May 4, 1966, on the above
subject.
We hereby give you permission, subject to the terms and conditions
hereinafter set forth, to use as a temporary pedestrian walkway that portion
of our property described in Attachment 1 to this letter, and depicted in
Attachment 2 to this letter.
(1) During the period that this permission shall remain in force you shall
perform at your sole cost and expense all :cork necessery to construct,
repair and maintain said temporary pedestrian walkway.
(2) You shall indemnify this Company against and hold it harmless from, any
loss of or damage to any property, or injury to or death of any person
whomsoever, caused by, resulting frc-n or in 4.nneetion with the construction,
repair, maintenance and use of said temporary pedestrian walkway.
(3) Nothing herein contained or done hereunder shall be deemed oz construed
tr --rest in you any right, title or interest in or to the land,- traversed
by said temporary pedestrian walkway, and you hereby recognize ituro-ington
Beach Company's tiLle to the lands traversed by said temporary pedestrian
walkway and you agree never to assail or resist Huntington Beach Company's
interest therein.
(4) You shall not permit any lien or encumbrance to be filed on said land
traversed by said temporary pedestrian walkway by reason of your constructing,
repairing or maintaining same or in connecti.ori with the use of same and you
agree to pay and discharge such liens and hold this Company free and harmless
of and from any liability in connection therewith.
(5) The permission. herein given may be terminated at any time by either
party upon 90-days written notice. Upon such term`..nation you shall, at
our request, and at your sole cost and expense, remove all paving and other
construction material, from the premises and restcre the premises to their
original condition.

A portion of the Northwest one-quart,r of Section, 2, Totmehip 6 South,
Range 11 West, San Bernardno Base and Meridian, described as follows:
A strip of land 5 feet wide, lying westerly of a line described as
follows, beginning at the Nortbwpst corner of lot 22 of Block 2002

of Tract 12 as recorded in Book page 3, Miscellaneouei Maps,
Records of Orange County, California; thence Vest 120.00 feet to
AA point; thence Norte 90.00 feet to a paint, said point being tPto
property line intersection of the Test ,property line of Nain Street
and north property line . Annsion Avenue, said point being the
true paint of beginning of the line; thence North 510.21 feet Along
the best property line of Main. Street to a point, said point being
an angle point in the best property 'ine of Main Street; ,thence
North 18' 56, %" East 376.83 feet along the Westerly property line
of Main Street to a point, said point being the terminus of the line.
