A substantial number of our clients retain us because of our ability to understand complex real estate valuation issues, to frame assignments in a manner which our clients (and the courts) can understand, and to be in a position of supporting our analysis and conclusions through the litigation process (including expert testimony at bench and jury trials). We have been retained by several public agencies to conduct both direct appraisal services and appraisal review services to assist these clients in determining whether or not to accept independently prepared appraisal reports for their intended purpose. As noted on our client list, we have provided appraisal services on behalf of more than 70 public agencies (and their consultant representatives) in Southern California. IRR-LA has a total staff of 14, including 10 appraisers, nine of whom hold a State of California Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License and three of whom hold the MAI designation of the Appraisal Institute.
