By separate letter we are serving you with formal notice of the termination of all current contracts between the city and the county, effective as of June 30, 1958, or as soon thereafter as such contracts will permit. It is the desire and purpose of the Baird to renegotiate any of such contracts as the city may still wish to continue on a July i to June 30 basis. The contracts to which we refer do not include those involving health, radio services, civil defense, or mutual fire aid, If ,your city has a contract which, by its terms, extends beyond June 30, 1958, we will appreciate a voluntary termina- tion thereof so that uniforwi ty can be accomplished as soon as possible.
