het•etoj it is agreed as follows :
1 . Wnrk Ste tpttient :
Y . S. P . shall p1;ov?de to CITY the following law enforcement
enhancement services and professional set•vsces :
A . The se'vvices shall be provided to :
(l) incort•igible youths ;
(2) youths with set•ious family , emotional , peel,
influence , or schaoi pt•nblems ;
( 3) youths Who do not qualify fnt• service the
County Program fot, Welfare & Institutions Code C-01
and 602 ;
{ 4) victims nf child abuse ;
(5) victims of thole:station ; and
( 6) victiims of rape .

be liable fort compensation or indemnity to any Y .S. P. employee
for injut•y or, sickness arising out of his/her, employment .

CITY agrees to pay Y . S. P . the casts o!' performing all
:services covered by this agc•eement . Such costs shall not exceed
$40, 004, and shall be payable upon invoices submitted to and
approved by the Huntington Beach Chi-ef of Police for the fiscal
:`years July 1 , 1982 through June 30, 1983. Within .thirty ( 30) :days
of r•eceitpt of th{s billing , CITY shall remit to Y :S. P. payment K

13 A. The United States Congress by Public Law 93-83 passed
12 the Crime Control Act of 1973 and certain fund:; were m.yde available to prevent

14 , of Criminal Justice Planning, (OCJP) to various: Communities in tine state.

16 Supervisors approved allocution of $234,067 from the County Justine System
17 Subvention Program, hereinafter referred to as C:JSSP, pursuant to chapter 1 ,
18 ! Di.vislon 2.5, Article 7 of the California State Welfare and Institution Code.
-19 C. Pursuant to these allocations, CITY tins entered into
20 an agreement with the County of orange for the administration of a juvenile
21 diversion program, dated June 29, 1961 .

23 delineated in CITY'S agi-cement with the County of Orange, it is necessary for
24 11 CITY to retain the services of CONTRACTOR, in particular r services; available
25 through CONTRACTOR' S office at 2803 Royal Palm drive , Costa Mesa, (.'aliforma,

27 referred to herein, the parties hereto do agree its follows:

SERVICES 'CENTER" agreement between'CITTY and the County of `Orange 'in Exliitiits
5 "A" , and "A=1". It is understood that none 'of the services provided herein
6 shall commence or ,expenses be incurred by CONTRACTOR without CITY first
7 t16tifyying' CONTRACTOR to proceed' under the agreement.
8 2. STANDARD THIRD PARTY CONTRACT PROVISIONS:

12 3. SCOPE OF SERVICES:

15 The term of this agreement shall be the period commencing

l9 CITY shall pay CONTRACTOR for services rendered hereunder
20 a sum not to exceed ON►'s 11UNDRED SEVEN THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY SIX
21 DOLLARS ($107,596) . One payment of TWENTY-EIGHT T11OUSAND DOLLARS ($26,000)
