The CITY agrees to pay DISTRICT One Dollar and Thirty Cents ($1.30) for Q 13 each permanent employee per fiscal quarter. Permanent employees shall be any'per- ttil• O 14 son© employed full time or art time with the CITY on a regular basis and not on a , ._ _...... z � � P gu O ,; 15 temporary or seasonal basis. The number of such employees shall be determined 18'- on the first day of each fiscal quarter. � ! 17 2. DISTRICT agrees to permit said employees to ride fired-route bus services , 18 of DISTRICT without payment of .fare upon presentation of a valid employment 19 registration card for the then current fiscal quarter. Dial-A-Ride services in 20 the City of La Habra are excluded from this Agreement. 21 3. Such transportation privileges shall'commence on the first day of each 22 fiscal quarter. 23 4. The dates which shall mark the beginning of each fiscal quarter are as 24 follows: July 1, October 1, January 1, and April 1. 25 5. Payments by the CITY to DISTRICT, pursuant to the terms of this Agree- . . 26 meet, shall he made no later than 15 days after the beginning of each fiscal quarter. 1 27 6. The employee registaratidn cards shall have a def i ite expiration date, 2 ba numbered in consecutive order, and shall be non-transferable. 3 7. CITY shall check employment figures and wake this data available to 4 DISTRICT on a quarterly basis. 8. CITY agrees to cooperate with the operational needs of DISTRICT, including } but not limited to, marlin curbs and erecting traffic sign at Pius stops as mutually j e e a � p 7 agreed upon by DISTRICT and CITY, erecting "Bus Stop" suns furnished by DISTRICT, 8 exempting (DISTRICT buses from specific and parking revvlatiens as approved by the t 1 g Director of Public Works and the Chief of Police of the City of Huntington Beach where 10 necessary, and tri.mraing trees. The cooperation referred to herein shall refer to all 11 streetn, roadways and other places used by DISTRICT in CITY or on roads adjacent - � 12 thereto but under the control of CITY. O 8. CITY agrees to fill out and distribute employee re registration cards bus .�. U p 13 � g • r t w � O m 14 schedules, and information about DISTRICT services to CITY employees. z •, 09 15 10. Either party hereto may terminate this Agreement effective the end of any ! '' 16 fiscal quarter, upon thirty (30) days' written notice to the other party. 17 11. It is the intent,of this: Agreement that DISTRICT will reali2e the same revenue 18 under this Agreement, as if each employee were paying the usual adult fare :for any 18 DISTRICT transportation received by such employed. DISTRICT shall, one random Zp week per fiscal quarter, five (5) working days during said week, totaling not less . 3 21 than twenty (20) days per fiscal year, count employee ridership on bus routes to 22 CITY and make approximated ridership data available to CITY. Estimated ridership 23 data shall be forwarded by DISTRICT to CITY on a fiscal quarterly basis. Any varia- 24 tion in price structure in subsequent quarters mRy only be instituted via amendment xe to this Agreement. ` 26 12. DISTRICT shall maintain for the duration of this Agreement the present 27 sylsting Ravel and frequency of bus servica to the CITY. Increasers in the level and 28 frequency of service may be made by DISTRICT In the discretion of DISTRICT.
