Supervisors to direct the Auditor-Controller to cancel
taxes on property acquired by the City in the above
referenced action per your request. A cor-r of this
request is enclosed along with the letter from the State
Board of Equalization enumerating the value of the portion
acquired.

Dear Mr. Heim:
Please .,efer to your letter of October 13, 1970, in
which you requested tie assessed values of certain land par-
cels conveyed by the Southern Pacific Company to the City of
Huntington Beach. The entire area of four parcels, excluding
mineral .rights, was co nreyed. The retained value; of $30 on
each parcel is the assessment for mineral rights only which
are still assessed to the Southern Pacific Transportation Com-
pany. The sale was completed in 1968, so no segregation is to
be made'for the 1969 and 1970 Board Rolls.
The table below lists the data necessary to make the
segregation.
