Moorhouse Lifeguard Chief Gentlemen: Please refer ro Mr. Moorhouse's letter of May 21 , 19641 relative to securing information for a temporary access and a temporary parking area can our property near First Street and Ocean Boulevard) Huntington Beach. Pacific Elec -ic Railway Company hereby grants permission to the City of Huntington reach to use portion of our prbpe&,y at First Street and Highway 101 for access purposes and for temporary parking purposes on the following terms and conditions: 1 . It is understood that the City of Huntington Beach expressly agrees to indemnify and save Pacific Electric Railway Company harmless from and against any and all c-aims, Loss, damage, injury, liability, however sa;-ne may be caused, resulting directly or indirectly from the work on or occupa- tion of the property covered by this permit. 2. City further 9Igrees that no automobiles, trucks or equipment will be parked or stored closer than 15 feet from tha center line of Pacific Electric Railway Company's tracks. 3. Use of the property is confined to City employes, and not to be used "ay the general public. 4. This permit is terminable upon five (5) days written notice by either party. In order for this permit to become effective, it will be nece .•sary for the CiNy of Huntington Beach to sign the second copy of this letter and return same for our records.
